I couldn't agree more with all the above comments especially as I have the same admiralty coaster model (as most of you probably know). Here's mine again sailing in the Forest of Dean:

By the way Jenno where is the lake in your photos? It looks very nice...

That's interesting polobeer, your Clanity is named after the poet who penned the line I have used in my signature.

Beautifully presented model with wonderful atmospheric shots  :-))

Is this a kit or scratch built boat, to what scale.

Hi Mark

That is really a great build. Very impressive. Can I come up to Bryn Back Park and see her ? The finish is superb. Well done, you motivate the rest of us to continue.

Cheers

Hello Jenno and Bunkerbarge!

First thanks for the invite Jenno; I might do that. Secondly, the name of my coaster ("John Masefield") is as you say Bunkerbarge, the famous poet who wrote the poem from which your signature comes from. This Mountfleet kit is really atmospheric and highly detailed, like all the Mountfleet range and thoroughly recommended. How is the "Ben Ain" coming on Bunkerbarge?

Cheers
Simon

By the way, there's a nice Mountfleet Models "Cruiser" tug on Ebay at present.

Look forward to that, Mark. I'm just finishing "Imara" so the nightmare is nearly over.  ok2. I could bring this as long as you've got a rescue boat !!

The next boat is sitting behind me. I've gone to the bank manager and persuaded him to let me buy the "St Nectan".  The box is taller than me and the hull fits the Volvo diagonally !!.  I must be mad.  O0  but I feel ready for the challenge.

See how you spur us all on.

Cheers
