My first time at the show. I thought it was excellent. I took a couple of railway enthusiasts with me and they really enjoyed it.
I burnt a few hundred quid on the credit card and then emptied my wallet. I got everything I went for and then some more.

I can vouch for the fact that it is Martin as that is yours truly on the left.  Had a most enjoyable day at the show :-)).  Only wish I could build model boats half as good as some of those on display  :((.  The size of the models on the French club stand was amazing.

It has been suggested that I post some of the photos I took on Friday, I will start with some that have already been posted on MTF.  If you would like me to post some more  have another 80.

Just got back, visited the show yesterday.
there were some wonderfull models on display, and I'm not talking about
Steamboatphil or Martin.
How can one make a single colour shirt stand out like that.
After ten minutes at the stand I had to leave, no sunglasses and my eyes where starting to bleed.
A big thankyou to all the organisers and exhibitors, this was my first visit to this show and I had a great
day. Will certianly put next years show on my calendar of things to do.

Hello Everyone
Just got back from Warwick for once i have'nt spent too much great day out and took a few pics the first ones are of someone i thought was Martin the shirt was right but he was'nt eating but the second shot in profile shows the start of a double chin so it could well be him, then a couple of shots of Deans Christiaan Brunning.

Hi Martin,
Nice to see you again, don't know what all the fuss was about re the loud shirt,
the mayhem brigade hav'nt seen my collection! I've plenty to rival the one you were sporting today !
The site I mentioned re your little George Turner Tug was "Phils Workbench" -  some interesting stuff,
look at the bottom of the right hand margin Tomsk Tug - I think this was the one in your carrier bag.
looking forward, as ever, to the show pics.  You are giving a great service to the hobby.
Regards Paul

:-)) Just want to say what a great show again this year, some terrific models on display and great trade support.

Martin, it was good to meet you(by Howes stand early Saturday morning)  and as I said to you, partly because of your excellent build review of Mountfleets Highlander I went with the intention of treating myself to one. After much deliberation and a beer at lunchtime I took the plunge and ordered one.i was hoping to bring one home with me but they had sold the three Highlanders they took on Friday.Still I can enjoy the anticipated arrival of mine towards next weekend.

My mate bought a Deans Marine mgb77  and he's asked me to help him with that as he's more used to bigger semi scale stuff ,so I defo should'nt get bored this winter.

Thanks also to the organisers and the trade who attended as this makes for my favourite show, long may it reign.

And finally to you Martin, thanks for a terrific website, your efforts are appreciated.
                                                                                                      Cheers Andy(Balders)

Or you can just follow this link: http://philsworkbench.blogspot.com/search/label/Tomsk

Interesting to see George Turner has boat kits on the market again. Lower prices too as they are now completely vac-formed. Sadly this means things like lifebelts are now moulded in but for the money they can't be beat !

Hi Guys
Paul and myself had a great weekend and the Pie was great ,
Paul got the last bit on Friday so I had to watch him eat .
I didn't know he could get up stairs so fast.
Saturday I got extra to make up for it.
Went out for a Beer or 3 in the evening with Steamboat Phil .
Fitted more boats in the car coming home than going, but thats the Norm...
Still the best show of the year roll on next year.
I will try to post some pictures later this week.

well, the dust has finally settled and the car is now emptied,

again a great show and what a refreshing change to see a whole load on ' new models'   sometime you can recognise the same models at each show you attend !!!

good to see the mayhemmers at the blackheath stand, especially   Xtian, is was great to meet you !- also Dave buckingham too !-

( and it was good to catch up with mayhemmers i have known for a while..... andy, debs, delboy, lifeboat paul, klunk et al... you know who you are !- our stand was within 10 feet of FLJ too, looks like business was good !- )

i got a picture or two to post, one has phil and his legendary £20 note in it !!! ( your secret is safe with me phil    :-)))

i will get these up in the next day or so....

the french boats were amazing.....  big enough to cross the channel  on their own   !!!!!!!

and my wallet came home emptier too- so now have some winter projects to be getting on with..... who knows one may be a new models for next years show !!!

but another good show and great to see the hobby represented in so many different models all in one place....
