Lipo problem

hi all

I have just tried conetting my lipo battrty to charge and the charer told me the balancing voltage is too high what does this mean?

I'm sure there are some experts on here that can help, but just a thought that your charger is set to A123 cells lipofe4 or something like that.
Normal Lipo are about 3.7v but A123 are about 3.3v so if your set on these it will show over voltage.
Sorry can't help any more never used Lipo.

That would mean the voltage the charger is being told to put in is lower than what the battery is actually putting into the charger though the balance socket. Set up the charger before attaching the battery :-))

The very same thing happened to me yesterday, I was about to charge a 3 cell 11.1v lipo but had the charger set to 2 cell, (2s), 7.4v, it warned me of my error straight away, clever things these lipo chargers.

If you were mention some details of the charger you are using and the battery you are charging it could be that someone has had the same problem with that particular charger / battery.
