Yes I use these.
No problems, and you can cut the outer shaft to any length you want.
I usually buy a few extra bearings to use in "A" Frames.

It is a good fit and even when it wears a bit it doesn't rattle.

well my shafts have finally arrived and ive got to admit they seem good for the money, however the bushes seem to be made from plastic! or is it another kind of material?

Hi,
the bearings are plastic, However, a special engineered plastic specifically developed for bearings in the full size world. Developed in Germany, and very good, hard wearing, and when used in our modeling world the water lubricates them at the bottom end, and the oil we use to stop the water wicking up the shaft, lubricates at the top end. But they don't really require lubrication.
So fit and enjoy your new shafts.

Yes they use Acetal in there normal shafts this does not req oil ,but if you bench test for to long or at to high a speed they get to hot so a spot of 3 in 1 oil helps and the top bearing as well it also stops the stainless getting a coating thay can damage the bearing if you remove the shaft depending on the water you run in.
there race shafts use Glacier bearings which are similar but thinner in section and made of an alloy
