T-Cut anyone???
« on: September 10, 2009, 04:36:02 pm »

Long story short (I did have a full commentary on what has happend to my hull, but the forum seen fit to kick me out and start again).

Has anyone used T-Cut after using Halfords gloss varnish on their hull? I have a couple of runs of varnish that I want to sand back with 1500 wet & dry, then I though T-cut would bring it back finishing with a couple of coats of wax.

I have heard of a few people doing this but I've never seen the final finish.

No reason why not, as long as you have a strong enough elbow- lacquer is a damn sight harder than paint- if it were me i'd find some furniture lacquer burnishing cream.
