nice film, enjoyed seeing her build.
But what happened? why she sink?
Mine is gonna be different, thinking of moving the wheelhouse back a bit and having a helle pad on there too
as well as other stuff
Hi Swampbug.
It's like seeing your 'baby' under water.
The reason for this 'Everlasting Fame'
is that I left the rear hatch loose and went sailing in a Storm. Rain and wind lashing across the bows , and all that. The rear cargo deck lifted and floated away and she filled with water rather quickly.
I since modified the design and fitted comings, which I then fitted out with hollow containers to a snug fit.
I still rate her a smashing ship to build and own and may build another one day. When mine appeared on You Tube, I had financial offers I couldn't refuse.
Go for it, but don't cut out the bulwark section in the centre of the boat. Smaller holes here will slow down the ingress of water.
Will be watching your build with interest.
