New Revell ideas
« on: January 10, 2015, 07:03:43 am »

Anyone interested in a few new Revell models? Cunards Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth in 1/400 to go with the Queen Mary 2, and Carpathia in 1/350 to go with the Titanic? Links below if you would like to support any of these ideas.

And if you find your way to the ships page there are loads to choose vote for, including Turbania, 'The Splendid Cats', HMS Vanguard, various WWI and WW2 vessels, no end of commercial vessels, a 1/144th version of the Flower Class, with (as far as I can see) a heavy vote (18500) at last check) for the Disney version of Nemo's Nautilus.
Of course, voting doesn't mean the kit will ever see the light. I wonder what their break even figure is?

I wonder how long it will take to go on sale once the decision is made

Thanks for that link! I voted for the "Andrea Doria", a beautiful ship with a history known to most people. She would be able to buy as a model.

Now that is something I would like to see and I think it is long overdue. One of the most fantastical movie-related vehicles ever made. Harper Goff's creation should see the light of day in kit form. Hopefully it would be large enough to R/C, if even to make as a surface runner only--which is mostly how it did its dirty work in the film...
