Well done!   A brilliant model which looks great on the water.

Congratulations!

Saw her in Liverpool earlier in the week, now sporting as US coastguard style diagonal splash down the side.... probably for health and safety reasons .... dont want her seeking up unseen on wrong doers and giving them a nasty shock now do we!
Just doesnt look right on a grey ship.

Blimey, was it really that long ago that I finished the build?

Havent been on the forums for a while.

I'm getting overheating problems so the ESC is cutting out, not sure how to cure that but, .

Try a larger capacity ESC or one for each motor.

OK I'll try two ESCs. I'm using a single Viper Marine 25 at the moment, but have plenty of room for a second. Thanks for the advice.

(Should I double up on the batteries as well?)

I run mine on two batteries and ESCs, that was on advice as I was also using a mixer. Using two batteries can't do any harm and it will give you a longer run time.

good luck.

Thanks - I'll get another ESC - and another battery is always good to have as a spare if I decide to run on just one.

I used a couple of tins of the Humbrol light grey No 127 enamel that the manufacturers suggest. Brush-painted.
