« on: October 19, 2009, 02:18:49 pm »

Hi all,
This is my new build a 1:200 Prinz Eugen by Aeronaut, as yet it has not been launched.
I hope it meets with your approval as it is my first attempt

Hi ,
Thanks for the feed back, I will take some close up photos ASAP.
I found the kit difficult to cut out the smaller parts, some parts difficult to identify and the main deck does not fit properly at the widest points. The superstructure is glued and screwed to the main deck which is removable and the planking wants some joints marking in. T he props and shafts have been replaced with brass ones which look better.

Hi,
As promised some close ups of the Prinz Eugen.
Cannot quite pick up the scuttles all 400 of them along the hull.
The gap at the bow where the deck join is because I did not fit the deck properly to do the photos.
