Today HMS Defender was launched at the Govan BVT yard

  Clicked on one of the videos listed alonside yours, Gingyer, about the Siege of Malta. Terrible mish-mash but some interesting shots of 4- and 8-barrelled pompoms in action.

Blast it gingyer,ya beat me to it,I'm uploading my clip just now. >>:-(  It looks like you were somewhere in front of me and to my left. I was back at the HMS Duncan shed. :embarrassed:

Absolutely beautiful looking hull, but the superstructure looks like it came form a corn flakes box.
just my opinion it is ugly, but the hull looks great..........
