Rechargeable are fine Peter, but get high mah or they are flat pretty quick :-))

Are you guys using them in powered craft by that i mean IC engines or electric or sail or all three. As my original post I had heard of surface drive props creating a rooster tail and causing signal failure.
I have scale electric and powerboats (two stroke petrol and nitro) its the faster breed that I'm worried about using them on for obvious reasons.  Some of our boats kick up a 3-4 foot rooster tail.

Thanks for that. I'm seriously thinking of getting one, they are cheap and save the hassle of frequency boards.
