New Tug Kits & Projects For Next Year...
« on: November 26, 2006, 02:53:54 am »

                      ...Hi Guys...

I was thinking about some of the new kits &  projects that will be released by the manufacturers next year...

Mobile Marine Models are releasing an updated version of their popular NANGEE hull to be called NANTOO in 1/32 scale & one other hull...

Model Slipway are releasing their DUTCH POWER kit in 1/32 scale & one other kit...

Tyne Models are releasing their MCS MARLENE kit in March in 1/32 scale...

If anyone has any more information to add to this list, Please do so...There,s nothing like planning ahead...

                      ...Regards...Norry...

1:48th scale for my ships. Large enough to show gratuitous detail, small enough to stay married.

No pictures of Afon Cadnant yet, don't think there will be much to photograph yet, they may not have started the steelwork. Nangee hull will come out at about 1/40th scale I reckon, not worked it out on my slide rule!! You would get 3 motors in that, what about an Afon Alaw hull from Mobile Marine models, now that should work. (What was my next build?)

Pics of most tugs on www.tugspotters.com - a good site for those interested in this area.
