BobF:
Hi,
I bought one when I re started the hobby back in 1997 and wanted a couple of almost ready to run boats to use while I built some new scratch models.
I still enjoy using it, although it's not the fastest boat, and probably not quite as quick as your boat.
They will turn almost in their own length at full speed, and I did fit an up rated motor. They use a 540 style motor, so plenty of scope to up grade.
The only thing that you MUST do is remove the flexi shaft after returning home from the pond to dry and oil it and leave it lying flat, or you will require a new flexi shaft almost every time you go sailing.

J.beazley:
thats good to know about the flexi shaft cheers,
im bored with high speed so manouverability is what i was looking at, i think i shall give it a bash and see what its like.
if its not all that then i can just as well sell it to fund something else. :D

..............or if you don't want to lay it flat, hang it up somewhere, that's what I do.
Cheers,
Ian
