Thanks,
I haven't been here for a while, I suppose too much work over the past few years.     When I took voluntary redundancy in late 1992, I became self-employed at building model ships and writing.    Since then I have completed 236 models and am currently working on the 237th.    I turned 65 earlier this year and decided to practically retire.   I am still building models for my own pleasure and my wife assists by painting the seas.     I am enjoying it as a hobby once again, so you should be seeing more of me.    I have been looking for a model forum to settle into and remembered that I was here at the start.   Spent a couple of days racking my brains to remember my user name and password - came up with the correct ones yesterday.

Peter,
I probably was, I wrote regularly for them about that time, but they suddenly "went off me"    They didn' say anything, but took to accepting articles but never publishing them, so I stopped sending them in 1979!

I now write regualrly for MODEL SHIPWRIGHT, but they have just stopped quarterly publication and gone on to annual.
