Jet Steering

Hi,

I just had a query about the guidance of a model boat with a jet drive using the steering nozzle.
I am planning to do this using a servo with two links connecting to a servo horn on top of the nozzle.
The problem is that these links must go through the transom of the boat. The obvious solution is just to have a couple of holes in the back of the boat and hope not too much water leaks through...

I was just wondering (hoping  :}) if there is an alternate solution(s) out there which can be used to steer the nozzle more effectively.

Thanks,

Robbie
