« on: November 19, 2009, 08:04:56 pm »

From someone who should no better about gas etc,( I play steam) I was filling my small gas lighter the type you use for lighting the gas etc, I use one for heat shrink and when filling with a Ronson type can it spits everywhere, so if you do it over a bench it lays there for a bit , so if you then try to shrink tome wires laying on it  WHOOOSH  no hair on hands arms etc, and a trip to the bathroom , (I know how jos Verstapin the F1 driver felt) any way it wakes you up..

You have to remember that butane/propane is heavier than air and treat it like any other flammable liquid.

Gerald.
Its really fun when you get some in the bottom of a hull and go to light the burner, didn't know hatch covers would fly that high!
