I have several old German Magazines from the 50s called "Hobbys" , the content covers everything from cars and motorcycles to boats and outboard motors to cameras and general science. In one is an Article about Hovercraft and how they could be used as ferries and Transport in shallow waters. There is in every one a project for Modellers.
