I have seen advertised 2 model sub kits. 1: X craft 1/72 scale. 2: biber 1/72 scale.
Are these any good for conversion?
Your comments and observations please.

Too small, too dense, & too heavy to successfully convert IMHO.

No.
Couldn't you have been a little less verbose?

Andy must have had a bad day
, as this is no way to treat a new member, If you are after one of these just pop over to the Association of Model Submariners face book site and ask any one there.
or ask U33 on this site

Fine. Look go and buy a pair, and when they arrive, and you find you have the task of rc-ing the equivalent of a cigar tube in dimensions, you can refer to Simon and Fred, and they can whisper sweet words of encouragement into your ear.
