By all means put us out of our misery and explain the black funnel smoke. The only way I have been able to get black smoke is by having a fire in the smoke box...

I'm building a Corvette and NEVER tire of seeing pictures of other members models. I love the weathering effects too!

Keep up the good work!

Modelo de Niza, algunos consejos sobre cómo lo hizo el desgaste?
Gracias Les.

Using two types of acrylic paint and polychromospastels. The acrylic has apply diluted in water and applied to a model directly, then step on a dry brush aplication.

The important thing is knowing that amount, in which part would be applicate the wheatering, especially the aged goes in those areas that are subject to wear, not all boat parts are worn, and especially not stain by stain anywhere. We must seek specific areas, those where originally the maintenance is not possible, such as lower plates of the vessel, the circumference of the chimney, or the area around of a bollards.

the colors that I use, are usually as the base color: orange, diluted, and the lesser amount and diluted with dry brush, the color brown.

I hope, do you understand my answer, I´m apologize, but my English, it´s not very good. ( I know... :((  )

It is also important to place the model in time. We all know that to be put into operation, the ship offers an image that evolves over its operating life in a variety of details that often affect its appearance. Superstructures, fireplaces, weapons are elements that in twenty or thirty years (average life of these units) are subject to change. Located in time, you focus on the content and form of what we intend to do.

best regards
