This is the set up in my pusher tug / club rescue boat. The motors are controlled by 2 Mtroniks Viper 15 ESCs, using so called "Tank steering", that is, each motor operated by a different stick. As all my transmitters are Mode 1, that means the right stick is throttle, operating the right motor, and the left stick which would normally be elevator in an aircraft, now operates the left motor.
The 6v 10ah battery, which sits between the 2 aluminium angles, is connected to both ESCs via a Y harness using Deans connectors. I have had no problems and, once the technique is mastered, steering is very effective, and pirouettes are easily performed. There is a rudder positioned between the props, but because of its location, is not overly effective, although it does help a little.
Having said that, the ACTion P94 is not much dearer than 2 ESCs, and is a brilliant piece of gear.
