I am water cooling a Graupner motor in a fast patrol boat that I am building from old plans. Can anyone give advice as to the type of water pick-up I should use. Is the copper pipe behind the prop the way to go, or the flush-type intake better? This is my first build so I don't have a lot of bits in my workshop to call on.

pipe behind the prop as they work at slower speed's and some fast patrole boats can be a bit nose out of the water (and most of the hull) so don't pick up very well.
