Does anyone on the forum have details of the pattern and size of anchor and chain which would have been supplied with TID tugs in the early 40's that they could pass on to me.

Thanks for your help oldiron.
I have been following Gerry's thread which gives some fantastic detail but unfortunately not the anchor, however the photo you have posted should be really useful.

The type of anchor is a Byers, the Admiralty used them on virtually all vessels in that period, just different sizes for different size of vessel. Until recently the smaller ones were used up as anchors on target moorings.
