hello from Wigan
« on: December 11, 2009, 08:05:44 pm »

Hello

have been browsing for a while as a guest...  so have taken the plunge!

and here i am with my first post.... :-))

live in Wigan NW England

have been doing my own thing for years, got my own private large secluded boating lake a stones throw from my house....    just me and the ducks

NOTE: the lake  doesnt actually  belong to me......  but i have used it for years without a glitch!

am into all sorts of modelmaking  (you have no idea!)

i love the old 60's style kits, Aerokits, Veron,  etc.  they really were far better than we realised at the time!

am enviromentally friendly and only sail electric these days...   i miss the smell of nitro/ether early on a Sunday morning tho!

current projects....

am rebuilding an Aerokits 34" crash tender....  and an Aerokits Sea Scout..  which will be finished in 60's chic trim :embarrassed:

will post a few piccies of my fleet when i get chance...  but deffinately no pictures of "MY" private lake :-))

till next time
