Deans Marine Open Day
« on: December 04, 2006, 09:31:08 pm »

Martin,

This is largely a note of thanks to you for the super photos from the above.  It was particularly nice to see a RAF Pinnace, a rarely seen and often maligned model.

I must make the effort to drive across the country one day to visit the factory, probably on the premise of visiting family (also rarely seen :D) in Cambridgeshire.

In the meantime, I've attached a photo of my Pinnace, rescued from ebay. (Thanks to G Turner for the figures, and Reades for the lighting)

No, I cannot answer why Naval types are on a RAF boat ??? ???

Any suggestions?
