take the GAV out of line if you can and try that they where a very temperamental bit of kit and if they have been left in the wrong state with tension on diapram(look at paperwork I posted) they need a new Diapram, best taken out of line till you get used to firing it up then re introduce it, you don't have to have the gas full on all the time once hot you can turn it down a bit and unless you run flat out all the time it should keep up.

What gas are you using? Do you know what size injector the burner has?

And I meant is that all the burns you have........ {-)

Well done Kitcrazy and you still have both your eyebrows  :}

I was also going to suggest taking the GAV out, but if you can keep fiddling and get the pressure up to 30 to 35psi, you will have more than enough steam to make that launch go.

Keep us posted.

No!

I have two Puffin plants in two different tugs, I have never had a gas regulator fitted to either, and never considered fitting one. After a bit of experimentation you will soon find the correct setting for the gas valve, both for heating up the boiler and for running.
