Boat recognition
« on: October 08, 2019, 04:49:38 PM »

Anyone recognise any details of the boat in the attached picture? As far as I know it is German and circa 1950

"With a new wheelhouse and full command bridge and the massive front construction as a platform for the 2 cm flak, the watch boats offered an almost stately sight, also with regard to the enlarged mast"

Any details of the gun other than it is a 50mm?  Seems to me that these boats were fitted with whatever was found in the yard at the time of build.
