Looking good Brian.   :-))

What size shaft is the that, it looks tiny... or is that just because the Cruiser is a big boat?
What motor will you be using?

Thanks Martin. The propshaft is 15ins long x 5mm.I've yet to fit an aditional support at this end.I set out the floor of the hull to fit a Krick Victor steam plant but at the moment I'm going electric and will fit the steam plant in a simple open launch to gain experience with same

When i see your build Brian.and the pictures i put up,and others boats,
It amazes me the work that goes into making those models.
I build for fun and try to add detail, but when i see boats on here and at the pond,i can see the work that goes into them.
When sailing our boats, the general public might say "thats nice" but they do not appreciate the work involved
The cruiser would be on my list, but i'm not that good and the boss said no
keep up the good work

Crafty sod,
Glad you like it.I've had a few problems with this build which I've managed to solve.I never give up.I do prefer the building side though this is only my second boat.My learning curve is still a straight line,.....vertically.

TUGMAD
I like your tugs, brilliant.Food for thought on a different name for mine, sugestions welcome.

Finished at last, well I've to put on the name and take it to the pond for sea trials yet.
I'm building a MFM lighter to go with it.I'll hopefully take better photos this time. It's an interesting project.I'll keep you posted.

Thanks fellers. If only you knew the hassle I've had.Perseverence and dogged determination got me through and I'm very pleased with the result.

Just for the record, the problems I've had have been 97% my doing. There is nothing wrong with MFM kits.In fact they arer fascinating to build and infinate detail. They are certainly a builders kit which suits me and helps me through our dreary winter months, about 9 this time I think.

Regards to all
