Hi all

Sure this has been asked before but what is the funamental differences between 40 mhz am and fm. I think fm is frequency modulated and am is amulated modulated. but what is the difference in performance?

FM is less prone to interference than AM. Presumably in terms of performance this means FM would provide a better range, less jitter than AM.
