Hi Guys,
Its the old person (fart) from Eastbourne here.
What a busy weekend we have had, just when we thought we could grab a coffee and a sandwich - "have you got................?" "can I have a..............." That happened over both days. A really big thankyou to Jeane and Arthur and all of the Committee that organised such a well balanced show. Also a big thankyou to Jeane going that extra distance and organising our accommodation at a very good campsite very close to the show. To all of the customers that gave us a good weekend of sales and also to all of our friends in this part of the world that we see when we attend this show. See you all next year!

Well there I was Perusing the Models at the Convention thinking to myself "one day Mine will be as good as some of these" when in the far distance of the pond I saw a shirt, a shirt which I thought could only mean 1 Thing.. Yes his Lordship Sir Martin Of Mayhem had secretly surprised the event with a special visit to the show to see what some of his loyal surfs were getting up to on our day of rest...An then as I approached his Holiness the distant figure started to turn and I thought oh he is going to grant me an audience...

As I got closer he fully turned around ...and well blow me it was only Mr Foggy himself Mark from MMB... Martin do you know you are being impersonated... I should have realised really by the bright reflection from the top of the head from the sun ..

First of all I would like to say thank you from the members of Kirklees Model Boat Club that attended the Convention over the weekend to Jean And Arthur and all staff for a great show. The standard of models on display was excellent and the trade support was good . The sailing displays also proved to be popular. We had many visitors to our stand with lots of questions about the models on display. We will be back in 2011 to this very popular weekend of model boating. I now have to go and unload the car
