Brian, in 'Clipper', what sail are you using?  You don't seem to be going very fast.
Try switching to the spinnaker ("spl" on the sail selection)  :-))

For those following the progress of the Mayhem sailors (?) in the Virtual Clipper Round the World Race,
the positions of those participating at 3pm 11th Jan are shown below.
The current leg is from Australia to Singapore
(boats which joined after the start are placed at the back of the main pack - 14000 skippers currently connected!!)

Boat names are:

Andy (Andyn) - "Mayhem Andyn"
Brian (Chingdevil) - "Chingdevil"
Danny (omra85) - "GinaT" and "Mayhem omra85"
David (dreadstar) - "Semperatis"
Greg (gondolier88) - "gondolier"
Ian (boatmadman) - "Ocean Mayhem"
Mark (craftysod) - "craftysod"

Cheers
Danny

Thanks for telling me,I didn't know that i'd run aground. I couldn't see the island because another boat was on top of it when i set my course. Do you just reverse course to get free?

180 deg turn will definitely work, but you may save time by trying a 90 deg turn South first.
Cheers
Danny

Looks addictive! Have you seen how many Skippers are racing? 74,340! No wonder you keep bumping into other boats, it is crowded out there!
