This a long race, and I think that will add to the fun.

How many are doing the Jules Verne? I am having fun with that one, but I know I am about to come to an almost complete stop with a bad course choice.

I am in in but I think the Clipper is more fun and particularly with all the other Forum boats in makes it more competitive in a fun way... Is Martin joining in the next leg ??

If you search for our "Clipper" names in the JV, you'll find there are a few going round  :-))

I'm in the JV but think the Clipper is more fun - but also more time consuming ...  %)

I am running a boat called Ocean Mayhem - why not join up, call your boat a mayhem something and lets race!

Ian

Looks like I started something here! :-))

For the next leg, lets all agree to run on basics only, by that I mean no buying extra go faster bits :-))

No extras for me (apart from the 150hp Yamaha outboard)  %%

I had a 105E and a Mark 1 - thin wheels and a stopping distance measured in miles ...  %)
Plus, on a hot summers day, the joy of feeling your BriNylon shirt glued between your back and the luxury vinyl seat - ah, the memories  :-))

Cheers
Danny

... there are add ons you can buy , Ie auto sails , course point changes etc but that I feel would take the fun out of it, and of course I'm sure Nobody here as bought any have we.. :police: <*< :police:

You can tell which boats have 'add ons' - when you hover the cursor over the boat, the picture window has the stuff in the bottom left panel lit up.
Guess how many of the top 100 have add ons .... ?  >:-o >:-o
