Steam Launch Model Figures
« on: January 13, 2010, 01:36:02 am »

Reading Andy's 'Steam Launch' thread last night I was struck by earlier comments on model figures.

I'm afraid I'm with Giovanni when it comes to most scale figures.  For the launches I own, Mies Van Der Rohe has it right for me, 'less is more'.  Everything has it's place, however, and Bernhard's beautifully detailed, antiqued, launches wouldn't look right without them.  :-))

I have eight figures, that I've accumulated over the years, at several different scales, that I'm more than willing to part with.  The only cost would be actual price of the padded envelope and postage!  :-)

I've offered Andy first choice on the two he prefers.  The rest will go, if anyone is interested, on a first come first served basis.

Here are some photos:

Edwardian figures:  1: Man,  2: Old Man,  3: Lady,  4: Dog.

5: Captain.

Larger Figures:  6: Man,  7: Lady 1,  8:, Lady 2.

Larger Figures:  9: Engineer with tool kit.

All of the figures are flexible and can be positioned sitting, standing or, in the case of the Engineer, kneeling at work!
