Dear Gingyer,
Thankyou very much indeed... I like to think so as well:-)) Whilst 'others' spent a lot of time on her as well, I spent about 1.5 years fitting her out and doing fine tuning (still more to do), and I like to think that she looks well for it. The p.graphs, whilst 'distant' do not of course show all this, and they were taken with the intent of not to 'show off' with her... they were taken to 'show her off' - you get my drift!
She is a very very proud vessel in her own being, and doesn't need any falsehoods, she was simply just in my and others hands for a while.
I must give due accolade to John Haynes for all his help and time at the beginning of the project, and to two other Mayhem members (who have unfortunately to remain nameless), who's invaluable help and direct assistance in my infancy of such a daunting first project (building and gnrl. RC build), was very very greatly appreciated - and I hope these two people will see this and what I have said about them.
I had to learn very quickly the refinements of a scratch build, and I like to think that I managed well with my part of the overall project. There were major re-design problems, and they went on for months and months and months, but she got there in the end! I am sorry the p.graphs. are not very detailed, but they are all that are avail. to date, but, I will take 'better' shortly!
Thankyou for your kind words, she much appreciates them. I am just simply her temp. keeper you see... that's all.........
Regards, Bernard
p.s. On my demise (or possibly before), it is arranged she is going to be given to 'The' Belfast.
