Hi All,
I am sitting here after a long weekend, in my caravan on the campsite at Beale with a large cocoa in hand - honest. I am very tired after batting around this weekend like a blue 'bottom' fly.
But all I can think of is how well you guys are at coming to the rescue of a failing show. I asked and you all came forward and put your best foot forward. I stood on the lake side at Beale, the rain was coming down and it was cold but looking over to the Exhibitors all out there with their boats on display and hopefully enjoying them selves all I can say is thank you - thank you and well down - you all deserve a pat on the back. The smiles while waiting to get through Border Control at THE GATE was special to all of us organ grinder monkeys.
Again, well done to you all,javascript:void(0);
Regards
Graham (The Old Fart)

I attended yesterday and thought the show was excellent. A goodly range of models to admire (some to drool over!) and the lake was busy all the time I was there. Sadly, I forgot to take a camera. The weather forecast probably put a number of potential visitors off but hopefully the traders did reasonably well. Congratulations to Graham and everyone else involved, many thanks for all your hard work.

I'm delighted that the show is a success this year.  I would have been there had my partner's daughter not decided to get married yesterday in Leeds.   i don't think I, never mind my relationship, would have survived if I'd suggested that I'd rush back to go to BP.    There's always next year!

Well done Graham.

cheers

I enjoyed the show. Too busy with my boats and buying stuff to take many photos. But here's one.

Arghhh
Wot a great show, I was ther for the 2 days along with soooooooo many clubs supportingg the event (Graham £20 still safe ) huge thanks to all (Ian et al from MTBC) I had a great time, chatted with chums, and don't forget all the lovely traders that were there (£20 note safe---orders given to a couple----oooh money must change hands)------Lots on the water (no straight running stean this year---watch this space) Some great stuff.
Now it appears several certain memerbers saw me on Sat night trying to BBQ some sasuages some 5 mins after the rain sterted

WellI had a lot of steam around me

I rest my case

However the caravans were------- {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) {-)

And no offer of help

Great show, a few hic--ups on entry, sorted for next year, getting back to the old days (sic)     keep it upchaps

£20 almost removed by Graham on entry-------but I got under wire fence and fooled him   :-)) :-))

My wife and I really enjoyed the Beale Park show this year. It is a wonderful place for an event with lots to keep everyone happy. The collection of model boats on display were terrific and the Beale Park collection was HUGE! Met some people from a model club in North London were I have been invited to go and sail which was great and the amount of trade stuff on sale was wonderful.

I would like to say a special thanks to the team at Deans Marine. Thank you for answering all my questions about your HMS Tanatside kit and letting me poke around in one of your kits to See what was included. My wife and I really enjoyed meeting you all and chatting about boats and the like. It was a massive help.
