Hi, I am new to the site and just wish to introduce myself. I live in Swansea, South Wales, have just retired and will spend my time walking, watching and photographing birds, making and sailing model boats. I have modelled all my life, planes, boats and a canada goose (life size). I enjoy scratch building.

Welcome to the site, boatergarden!

Do you have any favourite boat prototypes, or any pictures of ones you have made in the past?

Hello Dodgey Geezer,
I have no preference in my boats, whatever takes my fancy at the time. At present I have a scratch built HMS Exploit about a meter OAL, a metre class sailing boat Windstar (kit built), and a club 500 fun boat.

Well, if you have any questions or need to find obscure modeling items or references, this is the place to find the experts!

Good Sailing!

Indeed. I myself am an expert in the obscure - the obscurer the better.....
