Baltic Schooner model &/or plans
« on: January 24, 2010, 11:41:05 am »

Looking for info about Baltic Schooners. I wish to model a Brig that was converted from one.  I have plans of the conversion but as the hull was pre-existing  I have no hull detail - plans or lines. I'mhoping on eof you might be able to direct me to some plans. Alternatively, maybe one of you knows of a commercial kit that could provide hull specs.

I'm interested in looking at any Baltic Trader about 90 - 100 feet LWL. In particular, the Joel was built by Ring-Andersen in 1946. It was converted to a brig & renamed Pilgrim II in 1969 (photo attached). This is the vessel I wish to model. So far I have had no response from Ring-Andersen.  I used to sail on Pilgrim; as far as  I know it's lines have never been taken.

Hi Burma,

' Brown, Son & Ferguson' have a wide range of plans, might be something suitable for you.
