Forum Hicup - Tuesday Dec 19
« on: December 19, 2006, 06:54:58 pm »

The people that write the forum software sent out an emailed recommending upgrading all forums to the latest version.

"A simple 4 click process........"

5  hours, 5 failed upgrade attempts & 3 hours or restoring ALL the software from start - the forum is back on line.

These Smileys sum up the upgrade process ....  :-\ ??? :( ??? >:( ??? >:( :-\ :'( >:( >:( ??? :) :D ;D

   -   It's an interesting fight this forum, the software, some troublesome members, my nerves....
We'll see which is the hardest!  ;D

Just try to imagine the number of people who have benefitted in some way from the postings on this forum,  people who may not have otherwise been able to complete a task or even a model.

You do a remarkable job Martin and the whole hobby of model boating benefits from your efforts.

Thank you.

A happy Christmas to you, Martin and the team.  I also missed the 'Club' and am very glad to be back 'on' even though the 'spell checker' doesn't like me.

Cheers...Ken

I appreciate your efforts, as I am sure the other 900 +++ modellers must do, this must be very time consuming. All the Best for Christmas.
