Have you checked this out.

I used a similar set up in my Model Slipway Sentinel and Al Khubar and it is excellent.

I must confess i have purchased a P40C but not used it yet. After finding and reading this forum ( which is brilliant ) I am wondering weather to ditch the P40C and 2 esc and go for the P94 as that sounds a lot better.

I'm not sure - I've never owned a P40. But just to put your mind at rest, if you do decide to take the P94 route, then I don't think you can go far wrong anyway.

Good luck.

Re: P40C mixer from action electronics and incredible customer service too

I recently bought a P40C to run with  a pair of Viper 15 ESCs and no amount of effort would get the Viper to behave, it all worked perfectly except for left rudder while reversing when both motors just stopped.  Changes to the set-up merely altered which command option failed.

I had not bought the Vipers from ACTion and had foolishly not asked if they were compatible with the P40C, nevertheless I emailed Dave at ACTion-Electronics and got an immediate reply.

It contained some suggestions that may have  solved the problem and a clear example of great customer service too, Dave offered that if the P40C was incompatible, then I could have a full refund of it's list price against a P94 combined Mixer/ 2*ESCs.   I posted the P40C back on Saturday and received the P94 on Tuesday.

A brilliant company, there is no better example of a company looking after it's customers ( Even idiots like me )

Now I have got 2 brand new vipers to sell on Ebay !

Tassie, there's no reason why it wouldn't work with the 2.4Ghz gear. I recently bought a 6 channel set from Hobby King in Hong Kong, and it works perfectly with all my electronic set ups. It performed beautifully on the water too, with plenty of range, and best of all, no frequency clashes  O0

I second all the comments made about the P94, an absolutely magic bit of gear, and ACTion man Dave is extremely obliging and helpful  :-))
