oops, Sorry Martin!
Eaton Park is on the South Western side of Norwich
The easiest way to find Eaton Park is to use the southern bypass in either direction
until you get to the A11 Thickthorn roundabout, follow signs to Norwich, cross straight
over the next roundabout and take the next slip road off the A11 (Cringleford)
Right at the T junction(bridge over A11) Left at the next T junction, over the hump back bridge
to traffic lights in Cringleford, turn left at these lights onto Bluebell Road, about half a mile up
Bluebell road turn right into Southpark avenue, about three hundred yards up Southpark ave
there is a traffic island in the road.stop and find a parking place cos you have arrived
The club has its own Premises in the park with two prep rooms and an upstairs
meeting room with free tea and coffee and a micro wave to warm up your own food
there is a stairlift for the less mobile and full toilet facilities
car parking is a problem late mornings but members will show where to park if you pop in
quickly and ask
The pond is 440 feet by 80 feet with a depth of between 2 to 3 feet
this is an above ground pond and as such is very user friendly,we have two sets of waders
should the unfortunate happen,if any warship guys would like to attend we will deploy or
harbour and boom to give them some safety from sub attack
We are one of the very few clubs that still run I.C boats on the pond, should any nitro guys be interested
The club has 1 old and 1 new website
the old address is nmbc@fsnet.com
the new address is
www.norwichmodelboatclub.comNot being very IT literate its probably better to try the links on mayhems site, post code for sat nav users will follow shortly when I have found it!!!!
