run times
« on: March 10, 2010, 02:29:18 pm »

anyone got an idea about how long you might expect a brushless/lipo (2200mah)to run for in a fast electric mono?
Im thinking of having ago at the fast stuff but just wondered as to how batteries you might need for a good amount of time on the water?
Thanks in advance.

5 min max depending on motor prop.for a small fast boat, the idea is to get the max out of them for the exact duration of a race.

Hi Peter 5 mins max you must spend a lot of time waiting for batteries to charge? Or do you have loads?
I was looking for a fast boat that I could hack about with but with longer run times.not going to enter races just yet.
Is there anywhere near hereford that races fast electrics?
Thanks Chris
