That 'memory stick' looks like a USB WIFI adapter to me, I have a remarkably similar one attached to one of my machine round here somewhere.....

Hi Martin,
Its the sort of mini motherboard used by car puter enthusiasts.
The "memory stick" is a WiFi aerial like you use indoors to network your computers.
It networks with a laptop on the bank or pondside.
There is a module plugged into the motherboard usb connection which is used to control servos etc.

Ole' computer control of a boat   from a "playstation" handcontrol plugged into a laptop.

It only works when I have number one son with me!  otherwise its running on a Robbe Navy setup.
