Yep, of course I understand that.  Unfortunately (!) my Samsung Android tablet wont copy the embed code into the Reply box!
I've no idea why, just one of lifes complications.
I can post ie. copy and paste from my PC with no trouble ( I have done so),
So from my tablet I'm restrictd to text only - I've spent too long trying to fathom this problem.

I use my android phone ......

From album I click on the image required to open the image

Click the image again

Just below the image number, click on "about"

Click on "embed codes"

Scroll down to first box marked "BB code"

Click "copy" at the end of box (should flash yellow)

Go back to post and paste image. I have to touch the screen for a second to bring up the "paste" option.

Hi Les, when I have chosen the photo and moved down to BB embed code box, I click in the box but the Copy function here is grey not yellow.
Anyway, after clicking on Copy ,  I return to Reply box to paste  - no code appears just couple of words which if I went ahead and posted they will appear on the Forum!

I don't click inside the BB code box, just on the copy button. The button goes grey and the rest of the box flashes yellow.
When you paste into your post you won't see the image until you actually "post" it. All you will see at first is a lot of gobbledygook text.

Whenever I try to use the "image button" it is always greyed out and inoperative.
So, I use "Attachments and other options", "Browse", and "select" to post this image.
It will only appear after clicking "Post", not in "Preview"

Bob. Seems to be a lot of varied issues accumulating relating to posting photos here!
People have all sorts of differing situations ie. use of the preview button for example.

Nord:  I use SmugMug to copy/paste my image links direct into my posts.
They have the advantage of both appearing in "Preview" and being placed anywhere in my text.
ie: To illustrate a sequence of pictures within my text.

The image button simply does not function. ( For some browsers apparently - Admin )

The image I just posted was using the "Attachments" function below the text box

Hi Ned,

Do you get to see the pictures at all?

What happens if you refresh your browser cache?

By clicking on 'agree' ,I can see the pictures full size.
I was under the impression that Martin had removed
the agreement message.
After refreshing browser  the message was still there,
but once I agreed, the message disappeared.

Hi Ned,

Each time the image software is updated it overwrites some of the configuration so the text has to be edited after each update.

Some of the text screens are duplicated in the Mayhem Image system so they have to be changed in more than one place.

It's also possible that having used the images website and subscibed or depending how you arrive at the site we don't see the same screens that may still need amending.

Can I ask - have you subscribed to the Mayhem image webisite?

Do you see the "adult" text when you click on the image in a Mayhem post? - all or just some?

Could you post the URL link to the page where you see the "adult" text?

Regards

I just used a browser that had not seen MBMI website before.

I was not logged into Mayhem - from one of Jerry C's post I clicked on the image and got to the MBMI site with this screen - is this the one you are referring to Ned?

That's the screen I got.
When I went back to it and clicked Agree.
Then logged in again and I don't get that message anymore.
I have not yet registered on Mayhem Images.

OK so the system is generating a text overlay right now that says "NOT" - see green arrow

If you are seeing something that has different text then it's either an old cached version or something weird is going on...

Martin - You need to hit MBMI from a "clean" browser ( clear your cache / cookies etc)  to see this screen
