I must admit due to the nature of the sentence it's an easy mistake

It's a bit like extra words in sentences that play tricks on your brain

or how about

Count every "F"' letter in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE
 SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTI
 FIC STUDY COMBINED WITH
 THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...

How many do you get  - 3 Right or maybe 6?

I had the same problem Dave, but I found I needed a separate log in and password to upload photos. A bit of a pain I know, but it seems that the photo uploader is separate from the main forum. I'm sure Martin will correct me if I'm wrong.

Dave I use a simple programme called IRFANVIEW this alters the photos to the required size for the forum without reducing the quality very much so its 800 x 800 pixels usually. If you want any uploaded send them to me matey and I will do it for you?

Martin created a Model Boat Mayhem image solution after the fiasco with Photbucket.

It's a seperate system - that's why it requires a seperate login.

Once uploaded to the external system, easily accessible through the "grenn button" on the post toolbar - You link your images in Mayhem with the url from the image server

???

You have to register on the new system - login details will be whatever you supply at the time of registration

Martin suggested that user's subscribe with the same username/handle they use on Mayhem (can't have spaces - A-Z and 0-9) - but the password is between you and the image database

I did try to create an account before, but it kept refusing to recognise me.
So tried again.  It says my e-mail is already in use.  Of course it is, but it refused to let me register !!!!

No green icon.  Still a black icon  >>:-(

Bob,

It just occured to me that you were one of the Beta Guinea Pigs - you helped Martin test the system before general release.

I could explain the icon colour but no one would believe me (not sure I want to admit to...)! #hacker

Martin,

Hands up - The black icon is my fault. As you know it's quite a complex system under the hood, indeed the configuration seems to be duplicated at a global and local level and somewhat confusing in the abscence of instructions.

Yonks ago to determine what files I was looking at/ what level I was at I changed a CSS file to make the button a different colour temporarily. Bob's account accessed the system whilst the #hack was active.

I changed the colour back but the cache on Bob's browser is/ must be still storing the old temporay CSS

Sorry...

OK, NP.
What do we need to do about it?
Kill off Bob's account so as to recreate it?

... or do we 'fess-up' and tell Bob he on the Mayhem's 'Persons of Interest'  list?!

Can't do much about the colour of the button - you would need to be on Bob's machine-  but I have sent Bob login details that are tested and work
