Your choice completely - there is no link between the systems in terms of username/password

Rules are letters A-Z (Upper and lowercase) Digits 0-9 or underscore - no spaces

C-3PO is diffidently on the Mayhem Christmas card list!   :-))

U-boat Captain: Your name will also go on the list! What is it?

All interesting stuff guys.  I have a new log-in for my old image account, and still have a "black button" under Bold.
My cache should be well purged by now.  If it was just the cache I should still be able to click the black button and the code for it would do something.

However:  If I logged into Mayhem Images using a separate window, although it will not let me drag & drop images, it will let me browse & upload one.  I can then copy the BB code for it, then going back into Mayhem and creating a Post I can paste the BB code into it - a bit like SmugMug,  but rather long winded though.

Example:

I assume C-3PO is not a substitute teacher, stand up comic or lion tamer in real life ?

Note from Admin - Great to see so many great photos on the Forum using the ModelBoatMayhemImages  photo serves, don't stop!
Post as many as you like, no restrictions but could you limit photos to 10 per post please,
low bandwith / restricted region users seem to be struggling a bit!  :-))

What is it I'm doing wrongly?

I've enrolled on Mayhem Images. All OK so far.

I've tried to use it using Martin's tutorial. It all works just as it should, I upload the image, but it does not then appear in my post. It seems it is just that last stage which goes wrong each time >>:-(

Morning Butts!

Does it appear to upload and drop back to the post box, but with no link to the photo(s)?

Hi Martin,

Yes, I press the green upload button, I'm told it is uploading and then the screen drops away to my post but with no link showing in my post.

It worked today Martin, I've put a post in the model boat section, but I had to press the red A button to get the upload to start.

Excellent!

Not the most stable solution to posting photos... still looking for something simpler...  more reliable!  {:-{

I have just been adding photos to a new thread I created here:

http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,60771.0.html

However, after the first 2 replies, if I now try to add a new reply with more photos, I get directed to a 'Start a new Topic' page.
Is there some limit to the number of images you can post or something?

A tip for those still having problems posting photos.

I was having problems until I tried a little experimentation.  When I want to add a photo, before I press the green button I first press the one at the opposite end of that line which looks like a red A followed by pressing the carriage return (enter).  Only then do I press the green button. I then continue with the sequence described in Martin's video.

I cannot explain the mechanics, but it works consistently for me :-))
