You don't need to load them imto the text box. Just  click the post button to the right underneath. I assume you have already put text into the text box.
The photos will then load below your text.

We have a long a chequered history with Postimage.org here on Mayhem, even embedded the software to the \forum.... but many times it was unavailable, several times it's just disappeared and taken the photos with it, sometimes posted "inappropriate" advertizing along with the hosted photos and links to VERY suspicious sites with popups!

That said, lets give them another go. Today's

Hi Martin

Sorry, being a newbie, I probably posted this in the wrong thread yesterday  {:-{ I see you're having the usual problem with posting images and using 3rd party sites. I use SMF Gallery Pro and Post Image Upload mods on my forum, has worked well for years and you can control image sizes and file sizes, they are compressed on upload to the gallery.

Members can either upload their images to the gallery first and copy/paste the BB codes in their post, or they can use Post Image Upload in the post editor (like your 'Add image to post') and it does both for them. There are lots of settings for admin to play with. You've probably tried it before, but thought I'd mention it in case you haven't.

Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike,

I did look into that quite extensively a while back but thought the install was so intrusive into SMF core program, I shed away.
.... I could try try it on the test forum ... if only I could remember the passwords!    {-)

Can I have a look at your forum?
