Given the speed that I build at, if the magazine came out yearly then I might be interested!  %)

But (surely?) one of the commercial kits would be better value - although I suppose not having to find £'00s in one fell swoop might be better for some?

I reckon the Jokita HMS Victory is better value for money, but it does mean paying it out in one go.
However you do get Jokita back-up.

It's coming on very slowly.
I only build it in the winter months, and this winter I put in all the gun "stubs" for the two lower decks,
all the gun lids, and the stanchions and ladders round the large deck opening in the top deck.
Next will be all the hammock cranes.

in the warmer months it's working on a 1:16 Tamar Class lifeboat in the back of the garage.  I'd like to build the 1:12 Speedline Tamar but it's a lot of loot to keep hidden from she-who-must-be-obeyed !!!!!!
