Revels Model HMCS "Snowberry"
« on: March 23, 2010, 09:09:31 pm »

 :-)Hello to you all.
I have the opportunity of acquiring the above kit this being suitable for R/C.
Since I only have one Warship in my collection of R/C models I thought I would give this one ago.
Has any member built this particular model as I seem to recall in the distant pass and article of such a build the the Model Boats Mag.
Any info would be most useful.
Ceres.

I have just bought Revell's 1:72 HMCS "Snowberry" on Ebay for £33 inc delivery  :-)

It was bought from a general trader, rather than a specialist model seller, so I was not sure what I was getting.

It turned up as an unopened Revell Brown Cardboard shipping box with the usual retail box inside that with all the seals intact and the boxes showed no sign of damage.

I have only just come back to model boat building after 20 years so I will be sure to follow the advice here on the forum as I build it for R/C.

Just to let everyone know Revell have dropped this from their range,  don't know why, as they must have sold tens of thousands of them, maybe see it back in the catalogue one day.

I've heard Revell is going to redo it and release it again in both long and short focsale versions.
