Model plane drop tank...?

Any ideas as to where I can buy one of these...(circled in the attached image)

Haven't a clue what scale it needs to be, size needs to be about 2" long and about 1" in diameter ish.

Rich, I'd recently seen a link to just what you're looking for on one of the US-based forums. Not 100% certain but I think it was Hobbystore.

I'm pretty sure that it was indeed a Hobbystar advert, over @ rcuniverse -- you might try snooping around there?

Have a look in fishing tackle shops, a lot of floats are this shape in different sizes.....

Piece of thin dowel with a lump of extruded foam skewered onto it (Closed cell foam, NOT expanded poly), Dowel in drill chuck (You've made a lathe), and deft work with a sanding stick should have one "Turned" in no time.

slec used to do a bomb about that size! Droppable as well

flour.......FLOUR>>>>>>>>sacriledge  I say.......only the best for me.......BRUT TALC! That way you can find it when it drops off in a wheat field...follow the nose boys!!!Also it gives a better splat as it is finer than flour!!
