The plan is to have a model that not only rows with a crew of 10 plus a coxswain and a bowman but that is also Self-righting if turned upside down and self draining if filled with water.

The model is being built in fibreglass the Hull moulding is now finished and the deck moulding will be finished soon. By the time of the show it is hoped to have some of the rowing mechanism installed. The model will be displayed with associated drawings and research about the boat. Photographs and the build log can be seen at www.lifeboatmodels.co.uk/pullinglifeboat.htm

The Royal Spithead Review - A display that covers over three thousand years of maritime history with ships dating from Ancient Egypt to the present day.  All the ships are at the scale of 1/1200 full scale and in total there are around 500 ships – a wonderful display to see.

Now I bet you lot thought I'd gone to a better place.........well there is none better than Mayhem land, sadly (depends on which way you look at it) I have (and indeed still am) away touring with a show at present, so getting online has been a nightmare, but here I am at last, back in the fold (as it were).
Now of course I shall make available the corner of the Blackheath stand for midday meets for all Mayhemers, and with luck some might even bring along some cake (hint hint).
The stand is in the same place as last year so easy to find, and don't forget I am holding a lot of Mayhem merchandise (T shirts, sweatshirts etc)you can pre order or just turn up on the day to see what I have left (a further hint there)
Off to see whats happing on the rest of the site now...... %) %)
