I don't know if you have heard, but the EU has passed a Law, that Households can only have one car registered. Anymore will be liable to an Environment Tax, of 1.75% of the Gross Annual Income of the Household. So if you have two earning, bringing in , say, 30 K a year, your second or 3rd car will have to pay 525 pounds a year extra Tax. Nice eh!!?
Another bit of EU Madness, all Roses imported from Africa with stalks of less than 70cms long can only have 5 leaves on the stalk. Also the length of the thorns must not exceed 6mm. If they do then they will be refused entrance and will be destroyed. This is on Health and Safety grounds. We going to get EU Controllers in our Gardens now?
